I am delighted with my purchase. I spent many hours researching different types of juicers, reading product reviews, chatting to colleagues who "juiced", etc. before I opted for my Matstone.

I enjoy cooking, baking and culinary experimentation and wanted a juicer that was versatile and didn't just pulverise fruit and vegetables. The Matstone will also make pasta, rice noodles, nut butters and you can even buy an extra attachment and make your own oils from olives and seeds, etc. It does so much more besides.... far too much to mention in this review.

My Matstone is well made and robust. I am pleasantly surprised by how easy it is to assemble and clean. It takes just seconds to assemble or dismantle, and a quick rinse of the attachments under the tap is all you need to clean it.

My Matstone looks good too and has pride of place on my worktop, generating lots of comments from friends and family, usually along the lines of "What's that...?" providing the perfect excuse to demonstrate its versatility and juice something else. Fruit and vegetables are no longer safe in my kitchen anymore....

So far I have made the usual fresh juices from apples (of which I have an enourmous glut) together with additional fruit and vegetables. The flavours are very zingy and quite different from anything you buy in a shop. My plan was to juice and freeze in bulk, but sadly the apples are winning as I have too many of them. Eight apple trees... far too many for just one person to deal with...

Yesterday, I picked and crushed a basketful of elderberries and made homemade elderberry cordial from the juice. I have made about six pints. Delicious and completely free... except for the cost of the sugar and 10minutes on the hob...

My Matstone was delivered promptly and comes with a 5yr guarantee for parts, and a 12yr guarantee for the motor. I am truly thrilled....

I am absolutely delighted with this juicer. It arrived the next day and it does exactly what is claims to. It is easy to use and, best of all, really easy to clean. It is far more efficient than a centrifugal juicer and it is incredibly quiet. A Big plus is it's solid design and good looks. I haven't tried pushing pasta dough through it yet, but look forward to experimenting! A brilliant buy.

Oh - and the chickens love the extruded pulp!

I went through 2 "cheapo" juicers in a very short space of time. I was told about this machine by a colleague back in 2007 and bought one on recommendation. I have had to change the juicing cone, auger and drum cap which are classed as consumables. The biggest enemy of these is the dishwasher. Having replaced these parts and only washing by hand has enhanced their lifespan dramatically.
I have used the machine for all sorts of things, including mincing chicken for chicken burgers. One of the great things it does is produces long cylinders of mozzarella for stuffing pizza crusts. I have ground hazelnuts and chocolate too for making chocolate spread when the kids were younger.
It munches through all kinds of fruit and vegetables for winemaking. Fantastic cider can be made too.
I make my own smoothies each day using fresh juice and natural yoghurt. Cooked potato through the mincing cone takes the effort out of mash. Mix the leftover juicing pulp with yoghurt and fling it in an ice-cream maker for a low-fat summer treat.
Almost 8 years old, and I regularly find something else this machine can do.

Worth every penny.

So easy to clean, 3 Dec 2011

I bought this juicer on the advice of a few friends. It was expensive, but it is so easy to clean, that I use it every day, sometimes twice a day. I'm having great fun experimenting with juices and am feeling a lot more bright-eyed and bushy tailed. The other day I felt like I was getting a cold so conjured up a pomegranate, orange, lemon and ginger juice. It tasted amazing and the next morning I felt as fit as a fiddle. It's been the best £160 I've ever spent. :)

A great juicer, in use several times a day with no problems. Easy to set up, easy to use, easy to clean. I have just one suggestion to make perfection even more perfect: I added a bottle brush to the big 'toothbrush' provided for cleaning. The bottle brush is the smallest size available, the sort for cleaning down teapot spouts, and I remember originally cost 68p at my local kitchen shop. When I first unscrew the juicing nozzle it is the bottle brush I stick through first to clean it, though of course the 'toothbrush' is still essential for the sieve etc. and would do the job anyway. But with these two and a dishcloth it is all cleaned and away in seconds.

This juicer is so easy to clean the pieces unlock with ease any one who has griping problems i.e. arthritice will find it so easy to use. Rinse in warm water, job done.
It is a professional and reliable piece of equipment and sturdy, I feel that I will get a lot of years out of this juicer. Highly recommended if you're looking to improve your health, an excellent brochure is included with recipes and it explains many other uses for your juicer. Defiantly five stars for this product.

I spent 6 months looking for decent juicer and this little beauty did not disappoint. Easy to use and about 5-10 mins to clean. It was on the more expensive side for my budget but I use it once every two days as the juice is live. The motor is very quite unlike my previous juicer or blender.

Only issue I have is cutting vast amounts of fruit and veg to a small enough size. This proves is time consuming.

However very happy with my juicer.

I did a lot of research into which juicer to buy. I finally went for this one as I found the price not to be absurd. The product is quality and does everything I have ever needed it to.

It juices all fruits and vegetables I have tried. Some vegetables sound squaeky going through but this is the only "negative" that I can think of. I have done everything from blueberries to cabbage.

I have also used this to grind nuts into nut flour. The secret is to not overload the machine but just slowly put in 5 or 6 at a time. They come out perfectly and I have used them to bake with and make butters.

It is easy enough to clean as stated by pretty much everyone else...

Can't think of anything else I need to say about this... I have mushed avocados with this too...

Top buy!
